Reijnen's history began in 1979

In response to market demand founder André Reijnen specialised in potting techniques (embedding electronics in pre-formed trays). After some time this turned out not to meet all the requirements: as a result of requests made by existing customers experiments were also carried out with casting free forms using rubber moulds. This has ultimately led to Reijnen being one of the few companies able to provide free-form housings for PCBs.

Following the takeover in 2003 the entire company moved from Amsterdam to Groningen, and the existing techniques and specialist areas continued to be developed in order to increase the options. All of the previous experience gained in protection with polyurethane made the step to polyurethane seals easier to take than it might otherwise have been.

After an interim period of two years in Grootegast the company moved to Peize on the outskirts of Groningen. This new location served to absorb Reijnen Sealing's continued growth. The premises provide plenty of space to grow in the years to come and to serve our customers with the various techniques across the entire range.
